The best-selling series
The Sisters series is a collection of several-page, comic-book stories by Christophe Cazenove. William Maury is responsible for the illustrations. In the comics we get to know the adventures of the title sisters – a teenage Wendy and a few years younger Marine. Girls, despite the unbreakable bond that binds them, like to tease each other, and their quarrels often involve friends and family. The characters’ feelings can be described as complicated, although they can undoubtedly take care of each other. The fictional adventures of the characters, decorated with colorful illustrations, attract the viewer’s attention and show how important family is in the life of every human being.
(Anti) sisters
Marine and Wendy argue constantly, making their relationship with their loved ones truly toxic. The girls are unable to resign from being tingly and often spoil the mood during meetings. The sisters’ friends try to fix it, but the clever Marine comes up with another way to improve reality. And while the idea seems pretty straightforward, it’s not that easy to swap Wendy for a new, better model. In addition, the comic also features Maksio aka Maxentius, who is the boyfriend of his older sister, but the younger one – also very fond of him – uses his every visit to implement one of his evil plans. The source of most conflicts is the age difference – Wendy does not want to play the games liked by the Marine, she is not interested in the adventures of stuffed animals, she is not involved in trivial matters.
Fun at all costs
The adventures of comic book sisters will surely amuse you to tears. The authors have made every effort to ensure that the reader has a good time reading. Not only the plot should be appreciated, but also full-page stills showing how coherent the vision of Cazenove and Maury is. The illustrator admitted in one of the interviews that he gets the most ideas from everyday life – his daughters do not let him get bored! And indeed, the stories read and watched are real – everyone who has siblings will smile at the memories of playing together, fights for a TV remote control, conversations with stuffed animals, artistic raptures and quarrels that do not always end well. The verbal and graphic comedy of this series is at a very high level, so do not hesitate to take a look at the latest issue.
Plans for the future
