After the tragic death of Charles Blaine and his wife, “Uncle Chase” becomes the protector of the orphaned MacKenzie and Zach, who severed contact with his brother years ago. To ensure the safety and stability of the children, he takes them to the town of Cape Augusta, where the seat of the Blaine family is located. The three of them live in an old house, raised above a deep, gloomy swamp that hides family secrets.

Michael Moreci
Creator of many original comic series published by Vault Comics (The Plot, Wasted Space, Mall) and Image Comics (Roche Limit). He collaborated with Tim Daniel on the Burning Fields and Curse scripts published by BOOM! Studios. He wrote the screenplays for a comic book series that bridged Rise of the Planet of the Apes and Evolution of the Planet of the Apes.
Joshua Hixson.
Long Island resident cartoonist and illustrator. In addition to The Plot, he also has other horror films: Shanghai Red and The Black Woods. As an illustrator, he collaborates with the Kannibalen Records music label. He studied at the School of Visual Arts in New York.
