Cowboy Bebop is an acting interpretation of the anime of the same title from 1998. The series received both positive and negative feedback, and there were great fears and expectations associated with it. In the end, it was received fairly well and many people waited for a sequel. Netflix, however, decided to cancel Cowboy Bebop after its first season. Fans disagreeing with the streaming service’s decision have created a petition to restore production.
The petition created by Ryan Proffer has already collected over 100,000 signatures (103,496 at the time of publication). You can join the initiative on the Change.org website . As Ryan wrote, the world created for the show was amazing, even though it wasn’t a direct copy of the anime.
The acting version featured John Cho (as Spike Spiegel), Alex Hassel (Vicious), Daniella Pineda (Faye Valentine), Elena Satine (Julia) and Mustafa Shakir (Jet Black).
