In just two months, the bloody version of Winnie the Pooh hits cinemas. The atmosphere of the terrifying slasher is presented in the new poster of the film. The creators knew perfectly well how to evoke shivers on the viewer’s skin. In the Hundred Acre Forest, it will “breathe” with terror… The title character will be merciless!
Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey made the headlines of many newspapers due to its controversy. This is probably one of the few reasons why cinemas in the United States decided to broadcast it. However, the premiere will not last long. After only 1 day, the shows are planned to end. After February 15, the film will only be available for purchase from DVD vendors.
Why is horror only now being made?
Winnie the Pooh entered the public domain earlier this year when the copyright on the books first published by AA Milne expired. However, it is not only the stories from the Hundred Acre Wood that are no longer copyrighted. The director announced that he plans other adaptations of cult animations. Rhys Waterfield is also planning to make a slasher based on Peter Pan.
