In less than two months, the next edition of Copernicon – an initiative directed by fans for fans – will start. The schedule includes as many as 12 thematic blocks, and the event will be exceptionally online.
And all this in the Gather Town cyberspace, allowing you to participate in the festival from anywhere in the world, without losing the unique atmosphere of a fantasy convention. The application will create a map of the festival, representing Toruń’s old town – the annual venue of the event, where participants will be able to move around, interact with each other, and use previously prepared attractions.
Thanks to the created avatars, the form of the event will not be an obstacle in participating in a lecture of interest to us, taking part in a discussion panel or workshops, or going to the exhibitors’ stands and getting to know their offer. Connecting a microphone and a webcam will also allow for video calls with other participants. Interested in more details about Gather Town and how it works, visit the Copernicon website .
