In connection with today’s debut of No Man’s Sky in the Xbox Game Pass service, an update will be released, introducing the crossplay function, along with a separate list of friends, which will allow owners of PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC to play with each other. It required changes to the game architecture, but as you can see, the developers managed to do it without any major problems. Apart from that, we won’t experience any additional content apart from cosmetic changes and a few bug fixes.
Who would have thought that a game so heavily criticized at the start would bounce off the bottom and, thanks to two huge updates NEXT and Beyond, would once again win over players and get their forgiveness. The newest one, maybe not as big as its predecessors, but still shows how the creators took to heart fixing their initially broken work. And as you can see, they do it very well.
