After debuting images, posters and premiere date announcements, the new Goosebumps TV series coming to Disney+ has gained an official trailer to give viewers a better idea of what’s in store for the RL Stine adaptation . It looks like this will be a new take on Stine’s beloved line of novels, as previous takes on the material have maintained a much more lighthearted tone. Immersing viewers in a world of mystery and suspense, the new Goosebumps series follows a group of five high school students as they embark on a dark and twisted journey. They want to investigate the tragic death of a teenager named Harold Biddle three decades earlier – while also uncovering dark secrets from his parents’ past.
Who will appear in the production?
The main roles will be played by: Justin Long (Barbarian) and Rachael Harris (Lucifer), as well as newcomers Zack Morris (EastEnders), Isa Briones (Star Trek: Picard), Miles McKenna (Guilty Party), Ana Yi Puig (Gossip Girl) and Will Price (The Equalizer).

When and where is the premiere?
The 10-episode series will launch with a five-episode drop in celebration of “Hallowstream” (Disney+) and “Huluween” (Hulu), with subsequent new episodes streaming weekly. The first two episodes of the series will also air on Freeform on October 13 as part of the “31 Nights of Halloween” lineup.
The original Goosebumps series of novels captured the attention of young readers with neon covers featuring all kinds of ghosts and ghouls, before the actual story plunged them into exciting adventures. The series spawned dozens of novels, inspiring a TV series in the ’90s, before landing on the big screen with two feature-length films.
The series will premiere on various platforms on Friday, October 13.
