The new trailer for Peter Pan and Wendy is ready for you to watch! In the new version of the Neverland story, we'll see more of Wendy as she embarks on an adventure into a magical world.
The cast features young actors such as Alexander Molony ( The Reluctant Landlord) , Ever Anderson ( Resident Evil: The Final Chapter ), Yara Shahidi ( Grown-ish) and Alyssa Wapanatahk, but there are also other names like Jude Law who plays Captain Hook and Jim Gaffigan as Mr. Smee. Peter Pan and Wendy join the lineup of Disney+ Original Movies.
David Lowery – the director of Peter Pan and Wendy recently talked about what made him decide to create another live-action remake of the classic Disney children’s animation.
The weird thing about it is that when Disney asked if I’d be interested in directing it, I said that I think it’s been done before. Do we need another movie? Then I started thinking about how much it meant to me and just personally got involved. All I can say is that I bring my own perspective to this. In doing so, I realized that it might be the best film I’ve ever made – in terms of the way it approaches its themes – ironically talking about a child who doesn’t want to grow up.
