The hero is called by the Monkey King to catch the Demon Bull King. There are always friends at MK’s side – extraordinary and unique characters! They must find the Golden Staff weapon and defeat the enemy. Monkie Kid’s great, magical journey begins Monday, January 2 at 4:40 p.m. on Cartoon Network.
MK works at Pigsy’s diner and delivers food: he does a pretty good job in this role. When he receives a mission to complete, his life changes completely. That’s quite a summon! He must find an escapee from the prison located under the mountain, as the sinister Demon Bull King has broken free. The hero is helped by his friends: his hot-tempered boss Pigsy, his brave friend Mei, the good-natured giant Sandy and the expert in Tang legends. The series offers a fresh take on the traditional Chinese myth of the super-powered Monkey King from the novel Journey to the West .
In LEGO productionGroup, the legend of this character has been reimagined in a world full of expressive colors based on contemporary animation. Cartoon Network invites Polish viewers to embark on a great journey with the characters, during which the characters get to know themselves and their friends even better. It soon turns out that the mutually complementary team has all the skills necessary to catch the Demon Bull King. The big and strong soldier Sandy helps them get to the mountain from which the enemy escaped. The tenacious Pigsy is ready to fight demons even when enemy Bull Clones raid his diner. Strong and precise, Mei protects the group from any attack, and Tang knows many stories about the Monkey King and can manipulate yellow energy to rock duels. They all want a weapon, the Golden Staff, to help them defeat the enemy.
