Polish game publisher Techland, known primarily for the creation of Dying Light , revealed that it is working on a new action RPG game, the action of which takes place in a fantasy setting. Details of the new project are not yet known.
Techland announced today in a press release that their success in the gaming market to date has allowed the company to begin work on a new AAA open-world action RPG in a fantasy setting. In the pursuit of creating this title, the studio has already invited many former developers on board, who worked, among others, in over Cyberpunk 2077 , The Witcher 3 or Horizon Zero Dawn . For now, we don’t know what the title of the new production will be, but the company has unveiled some initial concept art that gives us an idea of what the finalized design might look like.
We are very pleased with what we have achieved so far with the Dying Light series. Moreover, our journey with Dying Light 2: Stay Human has only just begun and we plan to support this game for at least 5 years. At the same time, our ambition is to introduce a completely new title that differs significantly from what we have been doing for the last few years. We want to create something for a new generation. A new epic fantasy set in a vast open world, driven by the skills and experience we have gained as a team over the years, inspired by new ideas, passion and creativity, while we can’t reveal any more details about this project right now, we all truly believe in it.
