“The Legend of Zelda” in the LEGO version? Is it true?

Earlier this month, a LEGO set based on The Legend of Zelda series leaked online. While the set certainly seemed authentic, it’s unclear if this is actually true or if the design was fan-made. LEGO has yet to confirm the kit’s existence, but it looks like the company has taken steps to remove unofficial images from the internet. Nintendo Prime ‘s YouTube channel was reported to have received a copyright strike for posting photos of the set, according to Nintendo Life . Simply put, this wouldn’t have happened if the kit wasn’t real!

Since its debut in 1986, The Legend of Zelda series has had many different versions of the game, and the revealed LEGO set is actually based on two of the most popular: Ocarina of Time  and  Breath of the Wild. From the leaked images, it appears that the set will include a total of three mini-figures. Two of them will be based on Link’s designs from  Ocarina of Time  and  Breath of the Wild , while the third will be based on Princess Zelda’s design from the second game. The kit will also include components that can be used to make the Great Deku Tree resemble its appearance in both games. It’s unclear if this set will be a one-off project based on the Zelda seriesor one of many. There’s no shortage of games to make something out of, but it’ll probably depend on how successful your first set is.

The Legend of Zelda : Tears of the Kingdom , the sequel to  Breath of the Wild , will be released in May. It’s possible that this set could receive an official announcement around the same time, but it’s impossible to predict. Timing would make sense, even if Zelda fans might have slightly less money in their pockets at this point. Let’s hope LEGO doesn’t make fans wait too long for an official announcement and the rumors released by Nintendo turn out to be true!
