For the record, Free Guy tells the story of a bank employee who one day learns that he is actually an independent character in an MMO game. Guy (Ryan Reynolds) must save his world from destruction, and in order to do so, he discovers how the surrounding reality works. It will also be necessary for him to learn new skills.
In addition to Ryan Reynolds, the film also features Jodie Comer, Joe Keery, Lil Red Howery, Utkarsh Ambudkar and Taika Waititi. The director of the picture is Shawn Levy, and Matt Lieberman is responsible for the script. Free Guy is set to hit theaters on August 13 this year.
