The latest episode of The Last of Us series – Family has come out . The episode gives us our best look yet at what to expect in Season 2.

Just a few weeks ago , HBO confirmed that the huge success of The Last of Us has led to another batch of episodes. Showrunner Craig Mazin and executive producer Neil Druckmann haven’t said much about the show’s future yet, but the latest episode 6 reveals some noteworthy new locations and potential characters that could emerge in the future. This gives fans an idea of where the show is going in Season 2.
Episode 6 The Last Of Us vs Season 2
Episode 6 of The Last of Us , titled Family , takes us to the town of Jackson, Wyoming. This is where our heroes finally meet Joel’s brother, Tommy. We will meet his wife Maria, but also several other characters. Jackson becomes a key location in the world of The Last of Us . It later becomes the home of both Joel and Ellie. This is where the couple lives for many years before the events of The Last of Us Part 2 .
The city wasn’t actually shown in the original game. The series, however, develops and explains many threads related to the fans of the game. In addition to exploring the city, Ellie meets one young girl, around her age, who seems to be interested in the main character. We don’t know the character’s name, but there’s a chance it could be Dina. Ellie’s future partner in The Last of Us Part 2 .
When does season 2 premiere?
Unfortunately, we still know next to nothing about The Last of Us Season 2, other than the fact that it will aim to be a direct adaptation of the second part of the game. The story takes place 5 years later, so it’s unknown if there will be a long gap between seasons for actors like Bella Ramsey to age a bit. Regardless, Episode 6 definitely gives us our best look yet at what to expect from this series in Season 2.
