The last episode of The Last of Us is ahead of us. HBO has released the first photos from Sunday’s season finale, following Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie (Bella Ramsey) on the final leg of their journey to find the Fireflies faction in Salt Lake City, Utah.
There are no half measures here. We will finish what we started.

The episode is titled Look for the Light. It will begin with the Fireflies mantra that has spread throughout Boston’s QZ: When you’re lost in the dark, seek the light.
A new look at The Last of Us Episode 9 comes from Ashley Johnson , who voiced Ellie in the video game.
The station ordered a renewal of The Last of Us , for season 2 after season 1 premiered on January 16. It was HBO’s second biggest debut behind only the spin-off House of the Dragon . Produced by HBO, the Naughty Dog and PlayStation video game adaptation also received high viewer ratings, with its penultimate episode of When We Need It , which pitted Joel and Ellie against preacher David (Scott Shepherd) and his crew of cannibal survivors in Silver Lake, Colorado .
I’m really excited. It still seems surreal to me that this will happen again. But I also don’t want to go into a new season comparing it to the experience of the first because […] The Last of Us season 1 was the best year of my life and neither will be the same. I just have to go into the second one saying, This is the second season. And I love season one, but this one is just going to be different. I’m really excited. Just, yeah, I want to be back in Canada with [series co-creator and writer-director] Craig Mazin and Pedro for longer. It will be really nice.
