Hogwarts Legacy – a new game in the Harry Potter universe from Avalanche Software and WB Games for Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X is officially released later this year. Even though the game may be delayed again, this time until 2023, there has been a leak that the release date is in December. And if you believe these reports, the game will be released on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, the most common day for games to be released outside of Friday.
The leak comes from Amazon, which was included in The Art and Making of Hogwarts Legacy: Exploring the Unwritten Wizarding World with the release date on December 6. This is especially noteworthy as the album with the art was previously released on December 31st. As might be expected, the internet quickly realized this and has since changed the entry back to December 31st.
At the time of publication, no party involved commented on the speculation.
The Hogwarts Legacy is due out later this year – probably on December 6 – for Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X.
