Mickey and Donald’s detective office
Miki, Goofy and Donald have set up a detective bureau, but unfortunately they are not doing very well. And here, before the bailiff arrives, they have the first client who asks to find a cat who loves to hide in the title Horrifikland. What can happen in an abandoned amusement park? As it turns out, a lot of strange things. In addition to the terrible puppets, the heroes will have to face, for example, an air squadron of mosquitoes! It’s time to start ghost hunting
The story in this comic book is interesting, and it is full of funny moments. It is impossible not to like the heroes, after all, they are Miki, Donald and Goofy. Although I have never liked Mickey Mouse very much, I have always loved Donald Duck. Apart from them, the comic book also features the eternal enemy of the clever rodent, i.e. Black Peter. Most importantly, however, the trio of the main characters works great together and complements each other perfectly. Donald pretends to be brave, although he is very cowardly, and Goofy makes jokes. There is actually one thing that bothers me. In one of the scenes, Donald Duck notices that the cat is scared of the ghosts outside the window, but the frightened kitten does not appear in the previous frame. I also have a feeling that the story is not fully finished. Lewis Trondheim did not finally show how the adventure of Black Peter in Horrifikland has ended. I have the impression that the tip could be extended by at least two pages. The release is as satisfactory as possible, but I didn’t expect anything else from Egmont. The graphic design has its own unique charm. Scary puppets or the mad doctor’s hospital look great. In general, Horrifikland looks incredibly inviting, making you want to visit this amusement park. Alexis Nesme’s line reminds me of Disney animated films, so I appreciate the more that thanks to this position I was able to go back to my childhood. The graphic design has its own unique charm. Is it worth hiring Miki and the company?
Mickey Mouse – Horrifikland. A terrifying adventure is a very good item for fans of the adventures of Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck. The plot may not be revealing, but there are some interesting ideas and fun moments as well. It is a pity that the authors did not try to extend this story, because I have the impression that it ends a bit too soon. Nevertheless, despite some minor shortcomings, I had a great time reading it. I am eager to reach for other items in this series, especially when they are so beautifully illustrated. The cover of this comic book itself encouraged me to reach for it!
