The open world of Valheim is about to expand with an extensive Slavic endgame! See what the developers from Iron Gate Studio are preparing for us.
Valheim is a production that appeared practically out of nowhere, and despite still being in production phase, it gained enormous popularity right away. The adventures of the Vikings waiting for Valhalla took masses of people who wanted to build their villages in this procedurally created world. The tremendous success of the work of Iron Gate Studio motivated the creators to work more intensively and implement completely new ideas.
Although the open formula of the game would not indicate it, the plans to create an endgame that will be unlockable after defeating all the available bosses have been revealed. What is the mentioned endgame supposed to be about?
After completing all the trophies, we will be given the opportunity to open a portal that will take us to the other side of the disc-shaped world, where we will have to discover new lands again. This time, however, we will not be dealing with Scandinavian folklore, and we will be treated to our native Slavic language. This does not mean, however, that our pupils will start to believe in a new pantheon. On the contrary! Slavic gods are to become our next bosses, which means that we will have to deal with really tough opponents. Along with new opponents, we will be dealing with a different fauna, attractive biomes and a whole lot of constructions to be built.
So far, the authors do not reveal more details, what exactly new products await us, and whether it will be possible to travel between parts of the world. However, we will wait a while for the news, as the extended endgame has not yet received a release date.
