Rosario Dawson returns as Anakin Skywalker’s former Padawan. Ahsoka continues her hunt for one of the Empire’s most dangerous officers – Admiral Thrawn. On her way, she will meet both old friends and new enemies.
Highlights include the acting debuts of Sabine Wren (Natasha Liu Bordizzo), Hera Syndulla (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), Ezra Bridger (Eman Esfandi) and Admiral Thrawn. Unfortunately, Kanan Jarrus’ Padawan only appeared as a small hologram, based on the character’s appearance at the end of Rebels . With Thrawn, we only got a back view, and it’s still not known who will play him. As an interesting “easter egg”, Ahsoka referred to Chiss as “heir to the Empire”. This is a reference to the already non-canonical novel of the same title, in which the brilliant strategist made his debut.
In addition to those listed above, the series will also include: Ray Stevenson as Baylan, Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker and David Tenant, who will again lend his voice to the droid Professor Huyang after more than a decade. Ahsoka is set to debut on Disney+ in August this year.
