I grew up watching Dark Zone reruns with my parents and the original Amazing Stories. I have always wanted to make a series that whole families can enjoy together, intended for children and parents at the same time. RL Stine has been a part of many of us childhood, and Disney + has proven many times that they know their job and create high-class entertainment for whole families. I’m more than excited to work with them.
And Stine himself said:
If you look back, we have Goosebumps HorrorLand as a highlight at Walt Disney World. It was one of the most exciting experiences of my life. Now I’m excited to be able to return to Disney with a TV series based on my graphic novels. Writing Just Beyond for BOOM! Studios has been a joy from the start, and I’m happy that great writer Seth Grahame-Smith will bring the series to life for Disney +. Can I be luckier?
The premiere of Just Beyond has been announced on Wednesday, October 13, exclusively on Disney +.
