One of the stars of the series, Matt Smith announced that the Dragon House will be something completely different from Game of Thrones , despite the fact that it takes place in the same universe.
According to the official summary of HBO , House of the Dragon is a prequel depicting the Targaryen dynasty at their peak, with over 15 dragons under their yoke.
