In the first material promoting the culmination of the James Gunn trilogy, you can find some interesting moments. We’ve got our first look at Chukwudi Iwuji as the Great Evolutionist and Will Poulter as Adam Warlock. The latter’s appearance was already hinted at in the post-credits scene of Watchmen 2 . In addition, we also get the return of Gamora (Zoe Saldana) and several different places where the action will take place. A lot of the shots are from some kind of space prison.
It’s hard to say anything about the plot right now. The aforementioned prison is probably run by the Great Evolutionist and the Guardians are trying to break out of it. At the beginning of the trailer, there is talk about the end of running away from something. It’s probably the antagonist we’re talking about here. There are several shots relating to Rocket’s character, so maybe his plot will be crucial to the movie.
