The first photos of the costume of the protagonist of “Blue Beetle”

In fact, the only real difference is the helmet. In comics and animations, Jaime Reyes / Blue Beetle usually has visible eyes and mouth. Here it was decided to fully cover the face with armor.

The above photos were taken on the set in Atlanta. The actor takes part in a scene in the street in which he bumps into a car or is thrown at it. It is impossible to say at what point in the film this fragment will be used.

In the movie Blue Beetle , Xolo Maridueña will play Jamie Reyes, a version of the hero that has only been featured in comics since 2006. The hero draws his power from a mechanical scarab from another world. The device, after connecting with the boy, gives him the ability to summon the armor, which allows him to perform superhuman feats.
