Dungeons & Dragons: A Thief’s Honor is the latest attempt to bring the fan-favorite RPG to life. The main creators of the new film are Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley – who became recognizable for their film Game Night .

In a world where few big-budget movies get the green light with no potential for even more sequels and spin-offs, co-writers and directors reveal they’re not even thinking about it right now. However, when we asked the couple about it, they said that while they’d be open to more, they haven’t clearly arranged anything for a sequel to the film yet.

We didn’t plant any seeds. If we’re lucky enough to make a sequel, I think we’ve got a lot of places to go. We’ve created these great characters, we’d love to see where they are in a year or two. We’re also very superstitious, so we don’t really like to talk about it.

Jonathan Goldstein told ComicBook.com

It’s been almost two years since production began on the film – and even longer since the pair of filmmakers were hired to start work on the Dungeons & Dragons movie . Not only is the film fast approaching, but it finally made its first release last week to rave reviews from SXSW.

I’m excited to be here at the cinema with other people. I hope it’s a movie they didn’t expect. Scope, adventure and action, and that there are funny moments. I hope people really feel something at the end of this movie, and I don’t think they expect it.

Daley revealed to us
