Venom: Let There Be Carnage ( the 2018 sequel to Venom ) will return to the story of investigative reporter Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy). The hero has been connected with a symbiote for over a year, which gives him unique powers. This time, working with Detective Mulligan and the San Francisco Police, he will have to deal with a serial killer, Cletus Kasadym (Woody Harrelson). After a failed execution, the killer will escape from prison and then join forces with Francis Barrison – Shirek of the Ravencroft Institute. This place is known as the sanctuary of Spider-Man’s many crazy enemies. The goal of those two will be to make as much slaughter as possible.

The paths of mutual cooperation between the MCU and Sony would be paved for the upcoming Spider-Man: No Way Home, in which the Spider Man will face another famous villain.
