Terrifier 2 gained great popularity at record speed – all because of rumors about viewers who vomited and fainted during the premiere of the title. Such a quick success immediately inspired the director to create the next part.
Director Damien Leone, in an interview with Variety , revealed that he was planning two more installments of the horror film. He admitted that he had already had an idea for the third part while working on the second one, which left a lot of unanswered questions.
Part Three is getting so big, it may be split up into Part Four because I don’t want to make another movie that is two hours and twenty minutes long. We will see – confessed the director.
Damien has some concerns, however. He is afraid that someday they will go too far, producing endless amounts of next episodes and thus exhaust all ideas related to the main character of the slasher. In an interview with Variety, he mentioned that he would do his best to avoid this turn of events.
