The Nightmare Before Christmas seems to have been a staple of the holiday season since its debut. However, the director does not anticipate any sequel, despite the viewers’ interest. However, a short film is possible.
The charm of Henry Selick and Tim Burton’s film was the stop-motion animation. While there was talk of a sequel, the studio wanted to develop a CG animation, which neither of the directors appealed to.
Still, not all is lost. Thanks to the Disney + platform , there is an option to bring the Halloween Town to life in shorts.
The idea for a short film never came up in the past… But I think Tim might be open to it. It would be so refreshing… such a new take.
