In an interview with Yahoo! Entertaiment, the series’ original director, has confirmed the information about his return to the Alien Universe . Ridley Scott, after making the first film, passed the baton to James Cameron ( Alien – The Decisive Battle ), David Fincher ( Alien 3 ) and Jean-Pierre Jeunet ( Alien – Awakening ). However, he returned in the last two films: Prometheus and Alien: Alliance . Despite the success of both films, the director has no plans to refer to them in the latest production.
