The Crysis series is a series of first-person science fiction shooters set in North Korea. It tells about a group of soldiers equipped with special nanosuits. They improve their skills and facilitate the fight against enemy North Korean soldiers, mercenaries and the technologically advanced Ceph race.
The series, despite several objections to the plot, was well received by players. No wonder that Crytek studio has not yet wanted to say goodbye to this story. Therefore, on Tuesday, he published an entry on his official Twitter account, which leaves no illusions. Crysis Remastered Trilogy is already a fact.
On the occasion of this announcement, the first trailer of the upcoming production was published, which you can see below:
The remastered pack will consist of Crysis 1 ( 2007), Crysis 2 (2011) and Crysis 3 (2013) and will be released on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. So far, nothing is known about the availability for next-gen consoles. We know for sure that the remaster will not include the network mode, as well as the Warhead expansion , which presented the story of the main series from a different perspective.
The renewed first part of the series was released last year. Therefore, all those who have managed to purchase it will be able to purchase the other two parts separately. It has not yet been said whether they will be available at the same time as the Crysis Remastered Trilogy . The rest of the players will be able to purchase the entire package.
We will be able to play the upcoming refreshed version of the trilogy in the fall of 2021, but we do not know yet exactly when and how much it will cost us.
