Eiichiro Oda’s great story has been on the market for over 25 years, and while it’s still hugely popular, nothing lasts forever. Mangaka revealed that he had the series finale in his head and confirmed that he wanted to start the final act as soon as possible.
The update on the One Piece franchise comes straight from the mouth of Oda himself, who joined an interview with Detective Conan ‘s creator for Shueisha. Mangaka said he wasn’t sure how long it would take him to finish the story, but if he had to assume he would have been betting three years.
I shouldn’t say it out loud, because so far my assumptions have not come true, but so far the goal is three years , ‘he revealed.
Though Oda doesn’t say anything specific and prefers to be safe, she still knows how the story will end and where it is going.
