A few days later, following the show’s announcement, host B. Dave Walters confirmed it would be a new special episode featuring the Stranger Things cast starring Dungeons & Dragons . It will air on June 9. It is not yet known which actors we will see on the screen this time, but Gaten Matarazzo will be one of them for sure. The host shared a photo with the young actor:
Stranger Things is very closely related to Dungeons and Dragons , practically from the beginning of the series’ history. The heroes have played the game a lot, and the main evil forces in the production (Demogorgon, Mind Raider, and Vecna) get their names from D&D monsters.
The actors also already have experience with the game outside of the show itself, as they had the opportunity to participate in it back in 2020. David Harbor (Jim Hopper), Finn Wolfhard (Mike), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin) and Natalia Dyer (Nancy) had a great time back then.
