The description comes from the publisher:
Bermeld – a forgotten village surrounded by swamps, fenced off from the rest of the world. Its former inhabitants believed in the mysterious Four Gods. This faith helped them live and overcome their fear of the swamp’s native inhabitants – a race of terrifying giants, and an ancient dragon.
The world surrounding Bermeld was no less amazing. It was preceded by huge magical barriers between which – like in farms – people lived. The sky was appropriated by the Flying Cities belonging to the magocracy, which had subjugated the whole world to itself. However, the war brought an end to that reality, destroying it and bringing a cataclysm and … a monster.
Years later, Kadrian, a warrior of the Order of the Flaming Ribbon, wielding the magic of seals and serving the God of the Holy Fire, who has been silent for years, comes to the inhospitable Bermeld. The warrior who grew up here returns to the village after news of the construction of routes linking the marsh with the rest of the world reached him. On the spot, he receives disturbing news about a legendary monster that has recently invaded the settlement and kidnapped a little boy.
Kadrian promises to bring the baby back, but first he will have to face his past. He will see that everything has changed here, and more than he might have realized. He will be forced to enter into a difficult alliance, struggle with the Red Steel company and the Cult of Four. The most difficult challenge, however, will be to answer the question of whether Kadrian wants to remember who he once was.
