Australian Rebel Wilson is best known for her hilarious roles, including Kristen Wiig’s roommates in “Bridesmaid” and Fat Amy in the movies “Pitch Perfect.”
Rebel Wilson was born on March 2, 1980 in Sydney, Australia. Her career began with hilarious performances on stage and on television in Australia. She gained popularity in the United States thanks to the 2011 hit Bridesmaids , in which she played the role of Kristen Wiig’s roommate. Portraying the noisy, singing co-ed Fat Amy in the Pitch Perfect films made her an even bigger star, leading to her appearance as the host of the 2013 MTV Music Awards and a starring role in the short-lived TV series Super Fun Night 2013. Wilson later starred in films such as Isn’t It Romantic , Bustle and Cats .
Her parents had original ideas about naming their children. The son was named Ryot (riot) and the daughters Liberty (freedom) and Annachi (anarchy). Our birthday girl, on the other hand, was given the name Rebel (rebel) in honor of the girl who sang at their wedding. Upon entering a Christian school for girls, it became apparent that her name was considered inappropriate. For this reason, the actress was known among her colleagues as Melanie Bownds.
Surprisingly, Wilson was a shy child, but she was great at people watching, which helped her develop into comedy;
If you knew the shy, inconspicuous me from the western suburbs of Sydney, you would know how much I had to overcome in my life to get to this point. . . and then, against all odds, with the visionary help of malaria-induced hallucinations, I became a successful international actress, writer and producer
Rebel Wilson, may this year be even better than the previous one!
