The director posted the poster and logo via his Twitter account. In an added post, Reeves expressed his excitement about the new material and assured that we will see more of the new movie about the adventures of the bat at the DC FanDome. You can see the mentioned tweet below.
The logo is quite simple. The movie’s title is written in bold red letters with a new Batman symbol. This one has been significantly slimmed down compared to what was used during Ben Affleck’s tenure. The whole thing looks very good.
The poster, in turn, is the work of the famous artist Jim Lee. It depicts Batman standing guard over Gotham. Just like the logo, the combination of black and red was also used here. The graphics bring us a bit closer to the overall appearance of the Dark Knight, although it looks more like a comic book page than a film frame.
Currently shooting for The Batman has not resumed yet. According to recent reports, work on the set should start again next month. The premiere of the film is scheduled for September 2021.
