Due to the pandemic and the recurrent quarantine, the shooting of The Batman with Robert Pattison continues to meet with turbulent complications. Despite this, both the crew and the cast continue to work and the film is still in production. Previous shots from the set, for example a captured motorcycle chase sequence, are proof of how high production is maintained and that there is certainly something to wait for. This time it was taken for something much bigger and the objects of fan cameras immortalized the scenery built by the studio, serving as elements of Gotham City.
As fans on social networks notice, the whole thing looks impressive and, more importantly, satisfying. Production so ambitious, for which such high funds are allocated, must meet even higher expectations. Like it or not, we will compare the new film to the previous screen installments of the Dark Knight adventures. Fortunately, it looks like we have nothing to fear and that The Batman will surprise us positively.
The photos show Gotham City. We have seen fragments of this set design before , but this time the plan shows the full scale with which the filmmakers built the city. The sequences shot in winter scenery are promised unequivocally, it is also worth paying attention to such details as the black facades of buildings or rows of tents in which the homeless probably live. The city is dirty and dark, so just what we are waiting for.
In addition, the entrance to the Batcave was photographed. The world of Gotham in Matt Reeves’ version does look like something special.
The premiere of The Batman is scheduled for March 4, 2022. Actors such as Zoë Kravitz (Catwoman), Paul Dano (Riddler), Andy Serkis (Alfred Pennyworth) and Colin Farrell (The Penguin) will star opposite Robert Pattison (Bruce Wayne).
