History in three volumes
Jim Hawkins is a cook who works at the family tavern. However, he is not satisfied with his life; time is slipping through his fingers. Nothing interesting awaits him on the mainland, and Jim has enormous aspirations! One day, Bill Bones, an old sea wolf (or rather a walrus in its pure form!), Who has just come ashore with his mysterious and precious chest, arrives at the inn. The title character does not expect that the appearance of an anthropomorphized walrus in this area will change his whole life and make his dreams of a fantastic sea journey real. The mysterious chest contains a very valuable map that Bones got from the mysterious Captain Flint … The collective edition contains three volumes, each with a different cover: Flint’s Testament , Grim Heroes of the Sea andFangs and blood .
Medal anthropomorphization
The heroes who were portrayed in the comic were prepared with the greatest care. These are characters who have been assigned human characteristics – confident, determined, committed, greedy and proud. In the first pages of the comic we meet the title character – Jim Hawkins, a brave, young lion who leads a boring life, dreaming of great pirate escapades. Before our eyes, it changes, evolves, and then sets off on an adventure! Wolves, rhinoceros, crocodiles, dogs, raccoons, squirrels, rabbits, goats, antelopes, walruses, orcas, pelicans, lizards, zebras, wild boars, pangolins, eagles, lionesses, penguins, rams, monkeys, vultures – all these species Jim meets on my way. The protagonist’s relations with other animals are variable – sometimes neutral, other times hostile. There is also a theme of friendship in the comic,
Collective edition – we recommend it!
The Lost in Time publishing house has decided – in line with the established tradition – to prepare a short presentation of the physical copy. As you can see, the volume covers are different: the blue one is standard, the other one is limited. The first of them is also repeated in the collective comic and is assigned to the second volume of the tale of a brave little pirate. The phenomenal Sébastien Vastra is responsible for the script and drawings, while Jakub Syty did the translation. Interestingly, the discussed comic can be treated as a comic adaptation of Treasure Island by Scottish writer Robert Louis Stevenson.
