If you wanted to play the Resident Evil series, this year will give you the best opportunity! Your three favorite installments will be hitting next gen consoles!
Capcom has just announced that it plans to release Resident Evil 2 , Resident Evil 3 and Resident Evil 7: Biohazard for Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X | S. These three titles may turn out to be important. Two and three received their remake versions in previous years. The reception of these editions was positive, as they fixed old solutions, but they kept the atmosphere of history and added amazing graphics. The seventh part of the Resident Evil series was very positively received by the reviewers.
The developers announced to us that their own RE Engine will be used for production. The three above-mentioned titles will gain technologies already known on the new generation of consoles, i.e. ray-traycing, high frame rate, 3D audio. All this to gain even more immersion from these and so strong productions. Playstation 5 owners will be happy because Capcom will also give them support for haptic vibrations and adaptive triggers on the DualSense controller. The most important information, however, is that anyone who has copies of these games for old-generation consoles will get all the improvements for free !
PC players should also be pleased, because each of the new products will also be available on their platform.
PS5 and Xbox Series X | S versions are expected to be released by the end of this year . Unfortunately, Capcom did not provide the exact release date or even the overall quarter.
