Bandai Namco released a new trailer for Tekken 8 , which is about two minutes long. The video centers entirely around Kazuya Mishima, who has appeared in virtually every Tekken installment to date. In the first trailer it was confirmed that Kazuya is joining the Tekken 8 lineup . While this video gave us a rough idea of what he’ll look like in this installment of the franchise, the new trailer shows off his latest move in much more detail.
Probably the biggest news related to Tekken 8 will come with the release date of the game. Based on what Bandai Namco has previously said – Tekken 8 could come out before the end of 2023, although this has yet to be confirmed. However, if the game doesn’t arrive before the end of this year, Bandai Namco has clarified that Tekken 8 will be released no later than the end of the company’s next fiscal year, which ends on March 31, 2024.
Regardless of when Tekken 8 comes out, we know the game will only be available on current-gen hardware. This means it will only be playable on Playstation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC.
