Amazon Prime Video presents the teaser trailer of the new fantasy series “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” and announces the release date. The first reactions from the creators of the series and fans of Tolkien’s work have already appeared. Are they positive?
The upcoming series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power from Amazon Prime Video presents the events that took place thousands of years before the story of JRR Tolkien’s The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings .
Starting in times of relative peace, we follow the fate of the characters who have to face the evil returning to Middle-earth. From the darkest depths of the Misty Mountains, to the majestic forests of Lindon and the breathtaking island kingdom of Númenor, to the farthest corners of the map, this is a tale of lands and heroes whose legacy will endure long after their departure.

In the presented short 60-second film, the creators showed mainly the general picture of Middle-earth referring to the atmosphere of Peter Jackson’s films. You can clearly see the enormous budget allocated to the creation of the series (over $ 400 million for the first season alone). The series is set to be the largest in scale ever. However, no more detailed information related to the plot has yet been disclosed. We will have to wait for these until the official full trailer.
The premiere date of the series has already been given. The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is coming to Amazon Prime Video on September 2 .
