Wild Wild West
Jerry lives in the Wild West and has a good time with his nephews. Mice live in symbiosis with humans (Betty and her father), but not only that. Their friends are also the local prairie animals, incl. lovely kitty. One day, another member of the family returns to the family home – Betty’s brother with his faithful cat, Tom. The clever pet immediately notices a group of mice that have received special favors from the owners of the household and does not intend to fight with them; his eyes fall on the aforementioned beautiful cat with whom he immediately falls in love. The idyll does not last long, because the greedy manager wants to take over the farm, build a railway line and profit from it. To stop him, the heroes (Tom & Jerry & nephews) must team up with the prairie dogs. Together they will try to save the company, but will they succeed? The plot of this story will surely appeal to the youngest. Jokes and gags are fun and will surely put a smile on the lips of the little ones. Importantly, Tom and Jerry Cowboy Up! is also quite a smart animation, the message of which will also be appreciated by parents. There is also a reference to the commonly passed rule that bulls react to intensely red sheets of material. Do you know how it really is? If not, Jerry’s nephews will tell you (among them it is worth mentioning Nibbles aka Tuffie, whose hallmark is a diaper; he is a character already known from the Tom & Jerry series ) and they may even surprise you! Attentive audiences will surely notice that narrated by Darrell Van Citters and Will Finn ( The Tom and Jerry Show ) the story is lighter in message – the characters cooperate, do not tear the cats. The songs that the characters sing in the animation have not been translated, which is a microscopic flaw in the release. Nevertheless, their original performances bring to mind westerns with… Clint Eastwood. Perhaps Tom and Jerry will remind their parents watching classic movies from the past with their children? The plot itself will also bring to mind the patterns known from westerns, incl. Once upon a time in the wild west . It is worth noting that the movie is suitable for all age groups. A proper view of cooperation and an attempt to define what a home and family are are often touching and entertaining at the same time. Despite the fact that our title heroes are no longer fighting to the death, it was good to return to this universe. I recommend it to you too, especially if you have children.
Disc content
Everyone who buys the edition can choose the original version with subtitles and Polish dubbing. Besides, there are no additives on the disc, so if you like such flavors, you have to get by with the taste. I regret it very much, because the Scooby Doo DVDs usually had extra episodes. Nevertheless, I recommend this title!
