Despite the fact that Christmas shopping has been done (and given away) a long time ago, we have an unusual offer for you. If you are looking for a comic series for your child, the newest issue of Egmont is for you. Here are the Supersisters , the adventures of two amazing sisters!
The book about superheroes is diverse – we have a few pages long, short stories (which make up the first volume – Heroine without a laser ) and a bit longer, with an extensive plot (second volume – Supersisters vs. Superclones ). Their authors are Christophe Cazenove (screenplay) and William Maury (illustrations). The collaboration of the artists is undoubtedly a success – the series appeared in many countries around the world and captivated readers with the simplicity of its message, sophisticated humor and clarity of illustrations. Importantly, the heroines simply cannot be disliked. Their creations are consistent with age, and mutual nudges add flavor to the story.
Good prognosis
The original comic book about the aforementioned sisters – Sisters – is about two girls who come from a small French town. The reader smiles as he reads about the adventures of teenage Wendy and a few years younger Marine. Interestingly, the fifteenth volume of the series ( You did not have to provoke me! ) Is currently in preparation , which is published in Poland by the Egmont publishing house. The series discussed in this review appeared on bookstore counters next to Sisters . You can be sure that Supersisters does not let us get bored, and maybe even amuses us more effectively than its prototype.
Sisters’ power
The sisters – Wendy and Marine – have a second identity. They are superheroes, one of a kind and … the universe. Interestingly, girls gain their powers over time. Before they reach the next stage of training, they must learn how to control us with their skills. Despite their limited powers, Wendy and Marine are admired by all the inhabitants of the universe, because only they can face evil – giant robots or characters that bring the dead back to life. Time travel is a particularly useful skill. The album includes two original volumes: Heroine without a laser , which consists of such notebooks as: About how Marine wanted a laser , About how Długoszka was kidnapped ,About how the moles came out of the ground , About the dragon everyone wanted to beat , About how we looked for our weak point , About how T.rex got mad and Supersisters vs Superclones .
Thoughts
The adventures of two sisters will surely appeal to young comic book readers. The plot is interesting and engaging, which makes it difficult for us to break away from the notebook – both due to the desire to know the ending of the story and the illustrations by Cazenove. Additionally, reading Supersisters will engage us for a few evenings, because the entire comic is ninety-four pages long. The notebook cover is soft (but not super-soft!), Which, however, does not affect the comfort of reading. On the other hand, there is a risk that a comic book that is read over and over again will get bent corners faster.
