Oficjalna grafika Studia Ghibli

Studio Ghibli may not have any movies on the horizon right now, but that doesn’t mean nothing is happening. The company was busy behind the scenes, working on its first theme park in Japan.

Recently, a map of the studio’s theme park was released on the Ghibli Park website . You can watch it here . As you can see, it only shows one of several attraction areas, specifically the one intended to open in the fall, and includes everything from My Neighbor Totoro to Laputa – Sky Castle and other productions.

The park is vast and surrounded by nature to interest those who are looking for a place for an extraordinary walk. When the project was being prepared a few years ago, Studio Ghibli emphasized that it wants to preserve as much nature as possible when creating this park. It’s no secret that the company does maintenance, and director Hayao Miyazaki has portrayed the process in movies like Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind .

For those who wish to visit Ghibli Park, it will officially open on November 1 this year. There have been several competitions offering pre-release tickets in Japan, and some areas are open to visitors right now. After the park is launched, Ghibli will begin work on additional land, of which there will be a total of five. The first to open is the Dondoko Forest.
