“Stranger Things” – when will we watch season 4?

Finn Wolfhard, who plays one of the main characters, mentioned the premiere of new episodes on Netflix. Most likely, the series will not return until 2022. More plot hints appear.

The last episodes of the series appeared on the streaming platform in 2019. If the 4th season of Stranger Things does not come out until 2022, it will be the longest waiting period for the continuation in the history of this production.
Although work on the new season has already started in early 2020, unfortunately there have been significant delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Season 4 should come next year, hopefully.”

However, we must take into account that this was not an official speech and release of the release date. People associated with the production of the series also did not comment on this. There is still a chance that we will see an earlier premiere.

The series is set in the 1980s in Hawkins, Indiana. The creators of The Duffer Brothers often refer to the classics of cinema and fantasy literature. In the last episode of season 3, after a daring action in a shopping mall and a communist “laboratory”, the heroes are convinced that Hopper is dead. They have to cope with a new reality. It’s time to break up. Joyce, her sons Will and Jonathan are leaving town. They take Eleven / Jane with them – Hopper’s adopted daughter. The last episode is also an unforgettable Never ending story by Dustin and his girlfriend Suzie.

So far, little is known about the plot of season 4. The scene from the last episode gave hope, and the announcement confirmed it long ago. Our favorite Hawkins cop is alive, in a camp in the USSR – more precisely in Kamchatka, Russia. How will Hopper manage to get back to his loved ones?

The title of the first episode of the upcoming season is Chapter One: The Hellfire Club . It alludes to the Marvel X-Men series. Hellfire Club is an international club for the rich. Its members want to influence world events in accordance with their own vision of reality. They often clash with a group of Professor X’s heroes.

Gaten Matarazzo (series Dustin) said on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon that this season will be the scariest season.

The series stars: Winona Ryder (Joyce, Will and Jonathan’s mum), Millie Bobby Brown (Jane / Eleven), David Harbor (Jim Hopper), Finn Wolfhard (Mike), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas), Noah Schnapp (Will), Natalia Dyer (Nancy), Charlie Heaton (Jonathan), Joe Keery (Steve), Jake Busey, Maya Thurman-Hawke (Robin), Sadie Sink (Max).

The official release date for Stranger Things season 4 remains unknown.
