Will as the creator of a new monster
If Will is indeed uniquely connected to Henry Kreel, it would mean that, like him, he can create the Other Side. We already know that Jedynka had a rather unnatural sympathy for spiders, and this fascination allowed him to escape from reality. Will treats the D&D universe in a similar way. It can be said that the fantasy world was a stepping stone for him from the problems plaguing him in real life.
In Vecna’s memoirs, we saw an innocent drawing of a huge spider become a real threat to Hawkins in season three. The Mind Raider, beginning on a piece of paper, nearly defeated our favorite heroes.
So far, each of the monsters in the series has been inspired by the world of D&D , and we’ll probably see the same thing next season. However, there is a chance that the new monster has already been indirectly introduced to us. Some fans are convinced that Will created a new hero in the same way as One created the Mind Raider.
The painting by Will shows the team clash with Hawkins with a three-headed dragon, which is, of course, a monster from the Dungeons and Dragons universe . This is also where another theory is formed, predicting Mike’s death. Will introduced him as the leader of the warrior team, but it might as well be a sign that the hero will sacrifice himself to protect his friends.
It would also have to do with the aforementioned vision of Nancy. In addition to his plan, Vecna showed the heroine the death of part of the family – including Mike, as well as “A huge creature with a wide open mouth.” Perhaps what she saw was Will’s monster?
