The first major Stranger Things spin-off project has been announced by Netflix ! The world of the series is so big that both fans and the platform are not ready for the end of the series yet. Therefore, after the end of season 5, we will return to Hawkins, but in a different form than before.
The work has apparently been going on for a long time. The creators of Stranger Things have announced that the spin-off is coming to Netflix soon. According to Variety, details about this animated project are being kept under wraps. Eric Robles and Flying Bark Productions were brought in to develop the series. Of course, the Duffer brothers will continue to executive produce along with Shawn Levy and Dan Cohen. So we can expect all the spooky, nostalgic vibes of the original series to imbue this animated spin-off.

Stranger Things – another spin-off coming?
The Stranger Things series has been growing for the past few years, but only recently has it been officially confirmed that a new spin-off will be in the works that will take the series in a whole new direction. It will feature new characters with their own stories. It’s yet to be revealed if there will be connections to the main series, but it’s definitely one of the main things to keep an eye on.
As for who is developing the animated series, details about the studio and staff of the new Stranger Things will be revealed at a later date. Filming for Season 5 is scheduled to begin in May.
