Stephen Lang on the sequel to “Avatar”

The first part did not end very well for Colonel Miles Quaritch. A surprise for those who are waiting for more James Cameron films may be his return in the second and third parts.

In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly,  Stephen Lang, who plays the role of the audience disliked Colonel Miles Quaritch, shared his impressions of James Cameron’s Avatar 2 and 3 .

I think the fans will be charmed and delighted. People will just adore this world.

We also learn from the interview that his recordings for films are slowly coming to an end.

I’ll have to go back [to New Zealand] and do this or that, but I’m done. I hate to call what’s happening now post-production because it’s actually making a movie. It’s a beautifully imagined world that Cameron created. Partners, people who work with him are committed to this vision of the universe and contribute a lot – from actors to catering and every other person. I am looking forward to this as much as everyone else. It took so long, and it became a long period in my life.

Avatar 2 , after much delays and speculation, is finally scheduled to hit theaters in the fall of 2022.
