The animated series from the Star Wars universe about a mercenary squad of former Republic soldiers has been very well received by fans. In the natural course of things, the second season is coming, for which we have just received a new trailer and a promotional poster.
On Wednesday, Disney+ revealed the trailer and poster art for the second season of Star Wars : The Bad Batch from Lucasfilm Animation. The press release confirms that the action of the new season will begin several months after the fall of the clone factory on Kamino. The lousy mob are still trying to cope with the expansion of the Galactic Empire that rose from the ruins of the Republic. In the continuation we will meet new faces, but at the same time already known to fans of the universe. Based on the new trailer (the previous one can be found here ), it will definitely be Bail Organa and Captain Rex, who embark on a series of missions to dangerous locations. Season 2 of The Dirty Bunch features Emmy nominee Dee Bradley Baker ( American Dad ) as clones of the eponymous group, and Emmy nominee Michelle Ang ( Fear the Walking Dead: Flight 462 ) as Omega. ComicBook.com recently spoke to Baker and asked him what fans should expect from The Bad Batch’s return .
It will be better and more of everything [viewers] have loved so far. That’s what they can expect. If you love it already, you’ll love it even more. It’s a really, really good Star Wars , and it still is. I am very proud of this series.
Guest appearances in the new season include: Rhea Perlman reprising her voice as Cid, Noshir Dalal as Vice Admiral Rampart, and Wanda Sykes making her debut as Phee Genoa.
