Star Wars fans certainly can’t complain about the lack of news. I can definitely look forward to the next seasons of Andor and The Mandalorian (coming in March next year). Brand new series are also in production, including The Acolyte , and we’ve just met another actress joining the cast.
Andorra ‘s first season ended last month. Meanwhile, there’s a lot more Star Wars content waiting for fans, and it’s not just about the second season of the series. Yesterday it was announced that the third season of The Mandalorian will debut in March. Also Ahsoka will be released next year. In addition, several exciting new projects are also in the works, including Skeleton Crew and The Acolyte . Acolyte began production in the UK in October, with showrunner Leslye Headland, co-creator of Russian Doll , in charge of the project . In the new Star Wars seriesstarring Amanda Stenberg ( Bodies Bodies Bodies ) and Lee Jung-jae ( Squid Game ), Jodie Turner-Smith ( Queen and Slim ), Manny Jacinto ( The Good Place ) and Charlie Barnett ( Russian Doll) . The cast is still not complete and we learn about new actors from time to time. We’ve already heard about Carrie-Anne Moss ( The Matrix) joining , and now it’s time for Margarita Levieva from Revenge .

According to Deadline reports , Levieva has booked a guest role on The Acolyte . Her role is currently unknown. The series’ showrunner described the series as a mystery thriller set in a seemingly fertile and peaceful era in a recent interview . Headland also confirmed that the action will take place roughly 100 years before the plot of The Phantom Menace . Acolyte will be the story of a padawan who reunites with his Jedi Master to investigate a series of crimes that will lead them to uncover something even more sinister.
Many of these characters have not yet been born. We look at political, personal and spiritual issues that have arisen in a period about which we know little. My question while watching The Phantom Menace has always been, ‘Well, what led to this reality? How did we get to the point where a Sith Lord can infiltrate the Senate and none of the Jedi notice? Like, what went wrong? What are the scenarios that led to this moment?
