Electronic Arts and developer Respawn Entertainment today revealed a new story trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Its premiere will take place in the coming month.
Originally, the sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was supposed to be available to players, but eventually EA postponed this project. Although fans have to wait longer for the continuation of Cal Kestis’ story, EA is trying to brighten up the wait a bit with a new trailer.
The latest Star Wars Jedi: Survivor trailer , which you can watch below, highlights the narrative the sequel will be based on. As previous announcements for the title have shown, many of the main cast members of Fallen Order will return in Survivor. The sequel will also introduce some new faces for Kestis to interact with. The new trailer introduces several characters and also shows Cal’s mission and continues his fight against the Empire .
Dark times are approaching as Cal Kestis seeks a safe haven away from the Empire. Five years after the events of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, the now-mature Cal Kestis must look beyond his lightsaber to find his destiny in the shadow of the Empire .
Familiar friends and new allies – Cere Junda (Debra Wilson), Greez Dritus (Daniel Roebuck), Merrin (Tina Ivlev) and newly recruited mercenary Bode Akuna (Noshir Dalal) – side with Cal against the Empire and its most ruthless galaxy of enemies. Cal’s quest will take him to new planets and familiar frontiers in the Star Wars galaxy, including Koboh, home to the Bedlam Raiders.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will officially launch in just over a month – April 28, 2023. When the game releases, it will be exclusive to current-gen platforms including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
