The Andor series reveals a new perspective in the world of Star Wars , focusing on Cassian Andor’s journey. The series tells the story of an emerging rebellion against the Empire and how people and planets got involved in it. This is a time of danger, deceit and intrigue, and Cassian will embark on a path destined to make him a hero of the rebellion. Diego Luna returns as Cassian Andor, joined by Genevieve Reilly, Stellan Skarsgård, Adria Arjona, Denise Gough, Kyle Soller and Fiona Shaw. The executive producers are Kathleen Kennedy, Tony Gilroy, Sanne Wohlenberg, Diego Luna and Michelle Rejwan. Tony Gilroy is also a creator and showrunner.
The new Lucasfilm series set against the backdrop of political intrigue and the emerging rebellion starts exclusively on Disney + on September 21 with a three-episode premiere.
