There is no word on what the game is called , what it is about, when it will be released, or what platforms it might be available on. As for the rumor itself, it comes from Reddit.
Yeah I know it’s totally random but I ran into a friend who works at Toys For Bob and he basically told me he’s currently working on a new Spyro game
– we read in a rumor on Reddit
So why is this rumor questionable? Well, first of all, it comes from an anonymous internet user, in this case a Reddit user. Some of the biggest and most significant leaks come from anonymous Reddit and 4chan users, so that means it’s worth not skipping them. The bigger question is the rumor itself, as it sounds a bit like “my uncle works at Nintendo”. What’s more, it’s interesting to have a friend say something confidential and then pass that information on to the entire Internet. There had been rumors in the past that sounded almost identical, and turned out to be true. Unfortunately, no one knows what we can believe in and what we can’t believe.
At the time of publication, none of the parties involved – Toys For Bob and Activision – have commented on the rumor. We don’t expect that to change, but if it does, we’ll be sure to let you know.
